[cvsnt] cvs server: cannot open directory . for empty check: No such file or directory

Hi

I get the following error when updating:

in_my_module_directory> cvs -z9 -q update -d -P 

cvs server: cannot open directory . for empty check: No such file or
directory

any ideas?
