It was fixed some time ago in 2.5.03 for commecial support customers but
I don't know if the change has been made in 2.5.04, I suggest you
download the RC from the wiki and test it.  It's a bug in the server,
not the client so you'll need to set up a test server.  Altneratively
just remove rcsinfo from the servers CVSROOT.
